Stretch Therapy and FST

FST was originally used by professional athletes. Now thousands of people rely on it relieve chronic pain and stiffness. FST focuses on fascia (the tissue connecting your muscles, bones and joints). Instead of stretching isolated muscles FST targets many lines of fascia at a time, providing immediate pain relief and improved mobility, and relieving anxiety by resetting the nervous system.


Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is the hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues in the body, including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage therapy is a proven way to alleviate chronic pain, occupational stresses and muscular over-use.

Onkar graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science (Specialized Honours). He went on to study Athletic Therapy at Sheridan College. Onkar is a graduate of the National Academy of Osteopathy and is a Registered Manual Osteopath (RMO). He is also certified in Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST Level 1).

He is well trained in osteopathic joint mobilization, muscle energy techniques, soft tissue therapy, myofascial release, static joint play and cranial sacral therapy. Onkar provides a combination of osteopathy treatment and stretching techniques and exercises.

After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Tommy graduated from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and became a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). He also obtained his Level 1 certification in Fascial Stretch Therapy.

Tommy believes the nervous system plays an integral role in how we perceive musculoskeletal pain and tightness. Using slow, rhythmic, and firm stretches, he aims to gradually relax the nervous system to release tight fascia, muscles, and joints.

Tommy believes that lasting changes come from a combination of passive and active remedies, so he will provide self-care exercises suited for your condition.

Emily graduated from Western University with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology (Dean’s Honours). She is a registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. Following university, Emily worked as a Registered Kinesiologist in both physiotherapy and sports medicine clinics.

Emily has certifications in Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST), microStretching, athletic taping and soft tissue release therapy.

A keen runner, Emily stretches many competitive athletes and believes strongly in the value of stretching to prevent and recover from injuries.

In her spare time, Emily volunteers for a number of charities and has a passion for travel and humanitarian work.
